The Help Us to Help You project, generously funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation, aims to gain an understanding of the breast cancer landscape in the South Asian community and to enhance the community’s knowledge about how to support women with breast cancer.

The two-year project includes a research phase and an outreach and development phase. The research component will focus on understanding the breast cancer landscape with reference to the South Asian community. The second phase will entail engaging, recruiting and training volunteers from the community to provide access to credible and culturally competent breast cancer support, resources and information.
